Daniel Kelvin Mensah is the Managing Partner at Whitehall Advisors. He is a Chartered Accountant and Financial Management specialist with over 15 years’ industry experience in the U.K. and Ghana.
His experience cuts across academic research, finance, investments, audit, grants and financial management.

Daniel previously worked for Oxford Policy Management (OPM) as a Finance and Grants Consulting Manager. Prior to that, he served as a Financial Management Consulting Manager advising the U.K. Department for International development (DFID) in the areas of financial management, due diligence assessments and financial risks assessment.

He also worked as a Finance and Grants Manager for Adam Smith International (ASI) UK and was influential in localising the operations of ASI UK in Ghana. He also served as the Finance and Programme Manager for DFID with responsibilities over private sector and economic development programmes. During that period, he was instrumental in the design and execution of high level private sector programmes in Ghana.

Before branching into the international development space, Daniel worked in the financial services sector first as a financial analyst and then senior audit officer at First Atlantic Bank. He started his professional career as a research assistant at the University of Ghana business school.


Daniel is a qualified member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and Chartered Institute of Bankers, Ghana. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a MSc. in Development Finance, both from the University of Ghana Business School. He has an MA in International Development Studies from the University of Sussex, U.K.
